Mad Max Fury Road

This movie is a beast of a movie. In an age where many action movies feel weightless because of all the CGI and the obvious green screen, this movie goes all in. The cars roar louder than in any fast and furious movie, the colors pop like no other big budget movie and the action burns itself into your retina. My personal best movie of 2015 was the obvious choice for my newly created home cinema and I'm glad I waited all this time until the conditions were perfect.

They don't make movies like this anymore, but when they do they leave quite a mark. I'm not sure if Miller can recreate this with the prequel which is currently shooting, but I do I hope he succeeds because we need more blockbuster movies that make no excuse and just go all in and don't care about focus groups and how to maximize profit by playing to all the demographics.
